WIMAUMA — Hillsborough deputies arrested a 32-year-old man and charged him with trying to lure a 6-year-old girl into his car. Jose Luis Moreno Garcia, of  5427 Palm Dunes Court, was charged with luring or enticing a child in the incident, which happened at about 4 p.m., deputies say.

Clearwater Police found a male body in the water at the north end of Island Estates in Clearwater.
Detectives say the death does not appear to be suspicious. They’re working to identify the body and notify next of kin.
It was found around 1 p.m. near 850 Island Way.

TAMPA — Tampa Police and U.S. marshals arrested a Tampa man Saturday afternoon in connection with the Feb. 13 murder of Philip-Paul Kimber.
